米政府、日本への渡航危険度引き下げ　中止勧告から「再考」に

コロナの感染状況から渡航の是非を判断する米疾病対策センター(CDC)が8日までに、日本をレベル4(非常に高い)からレベル3(高い)に引き下げた。国務省はCDCの判断に加えて、治安やテロなどの情報を踏まえて総合的に判断した。

国務省は5月24日、日本の渡航警戒レベルを最高のレベル4に引き上げ、米国民への渡航中止を勧告した。法的拘束力はないものの、五輪が2カ月後に迫るなかでの米国の渡航中止勧告は日本の国内外に波紋を広げていた。
