庭で芝刈りの７０歳男性、「殺人バチ」の大群に襲われ死亡

消防士の１人は自分の防護服を脱いで男性の妻に着せ、家から脱出させて救助した。妻は現場から病院に搬送されて手当てを受けた。

ジョージア州のハチ駆除業者はＣＮＮの取材に対し、ミツバチのこうした行動は同地域では珍しいことではないと指摘、「特にこの種のミツバチは、芝刈り機の振動、除草機の振動、子どもが近くで飛び跳ねたりする音に反応して自衛行動に出る」と話している。
