米空母打撃群、定期任務で南シナ海入り＝海軍

［ロイター］米海軍は１５日、原子力空母ロナルド・レーガンが率いる米空母打撃群が、定期的な任務の一環として南シナ海に入ったと発表した。

同海域の大部分で領有権を主張する中国と米国の間では緊張が高まっている。

米海軍は「南シナ海で、（空母）打撃群は固定・回転翼航空機による飛行活動、海上打撃演習、水上部隊と航空部隊間の調整された戦術訓練を含む海上警備活動を行っている」と説明。「南シナ海での空母の運用は、インド太平洋における米海軍の定期的なプレゼンスを示す任務の一環だ」とした。
