　米国のインド太平洋軍司令官や元大統領補佐官らが、相次いで「中国による台湾侵攻」の警鐘を鳴らしている。台湾危機は日本の危機に直結する。そのとき、日本はどうするのか。4月上旬に予定される日米首脳会談で、焦点の1つになるのは確実だ。

　口火を切ったのは、米インド太平洋軍のフィリップ・デービッドソン司令官だった。同氏は3月9日、米上院軍事委員会で「今後6年以内に中国が台湾を侵攻する可能性がある」と証言した。同氏は「米国のリーダーとしての役割に取って代わろうという野心を強めている。…その前に台湾が野心の目標の1つであることは間違いない」と語った。
