一部では重症者も出ているほか、７４人が死亡した。３９６人は接種後に入院が必要となった。

今回の数字はワクチンが現実世界でどのように有効なのかを示すＣＤＣからの初のデータとなる。
また、ワクチンが重い疾患や死を完全には予防できないことも示している。

ワクチンは感染予防に１００％の有効性があるわけではなく、数千万人がワクチン接種をすれば、こうした事例はさらに報告されるだろう。

ファイザーとビオンテックのワクチンは治験での有効性は９５％だった。
今月上旬に発表された米国での実際のデータでは６カ月にわたって９１％超の有効性が示された。

一ヶ月で150万人（国民の0.5パーセント）だから7700万人が一ヶ月期間過ごしたとまああ仮定すると、
ワクチンなしだとざっくり35万人程度感染する計算になるから、感染者数という観点ではものすごく優秀ということになる。

　

過度な期待はするなって事やな、今までより多少感染しにくくなっただけと。
