ニューヨーク（ＣＮＮ）　米子ども向けチャンネル「ニコロデオン」の人気アニメシリーズ「スポンジ・ボブ」のエピソードのうち、不適切と判断された２話がインターネット配信のコンテンツから削除された。

シーズン１２のエピソードのひとつ「Ｋｗａｒａｎｔｉｎｅｄ　Ｃｒａｂ」は、ウイルス感染症を扱ったストーリーだった。

主人公スポンジ・ボブの勤め先、カニのキャラクター「カーニ」が経営するレストランで「クラム・フルー（あさり風邪）」の感染者が見つかる。店内の客が隔離されたり、感染者とみられるグループが仲間外れにされて冷凍庫へ投げ込まれたりする。
新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大が始まってからアジア系市民らが孤立し、憎悪の対象となってきた現実が反映されている。

削除されたもうひとつのエピソードは、シーズン３の「私はクール」。スポンジ・ボブがカーニたちと女性の家に忍び込み、下着を盗む場面が出てくる。

くっだらね。もし2021年に作ったアニメなら空気読まないな〜って思うけど、昔のエピソードでしょ？

　

スポンジボブは元々かなり過激な内容だったよ
なのに今更そんなとこで騒ぐ辺り無能な人達だなぁと思う
みたくなきゃみなきゃいいしアニメと現実のくらいつくし子供にはいい教材として親が教育すればいいじゃん

　

スポンジボブは不謹慎な話ばっかりですけどね笑。
過激すぎて子どもには見せたくないなーと思ったりしつつも、子どもたちは大好きでよく観ている時期がありました。ボブ達のありえないテンションやブラックな笑いにゲラゲラ笑ってましたが、息子2人共に穏やかに健やかに育ってます。成長と共に見なくなり、時々思い出して「あれ、ヤバかったよねー」とかは言ってますが。

　

今思うと、日本の昔のアニメで今だったら完全にNGでしょ！と言う作品って多かったりしますよね。

　

じゃあサウスパークや、ザシンプソンズはどうなの？って思う。

　

綺麗事ばかり見せてたらまともな人間に育つとでも？
大事なのは善悪の判断がしっかりできるように教えることだと思うが

　

教育に良くないとアンパンマンのアンパ〜ンチの解決法が問題視されている時代なのでビックリします。
お友達をすぐ叩いてしまう子や暴力をする大人はアンパンマンを見て育ったからなの？って事になりますよね。

　

ヤバさ加減やら過激さ加減でなく、察するにニコロデオンは内容の度合い以上に内容の種類を厳しく見ている印象がある。

　

女性への性的な犯罪を連想させるものや、感染症患者への差別を連想させるものがダメで、スポンジボブでよくやってるように手を切ったりみじん切りにしたりする暴力的あるいは過激な演出なら良いと言った感じ。

　

差別はダメだが、暴力や過激なことは良いというのはアメリカらしい。

　

時々出るリアルで汚い絵のアップがシュールでいい感じ

　

もっと狂ってる回がいくらでもあるだろ！

　

アメリカではTVドラマ、アニメでの性描写、暴力シーンが厳しく規制されている。
子供への影響を配慮してとのことだが、実生活で、銃殺、強盗、暴行が日常茶飯事なことを考えると意味があるのか？と言いたい。

　

アメリカのアニメは風刺を効かせた作品が多く、ギリギリを攻める傾向がありますのでこういう事も起きるのでしょう。「シンプソンズ」「サウスパーク」然り。

　

むしろその2話以外のスポンジボブはアリな判断に驚く

　

何でもかんでも規制の不調にはうんざり。
スポンジボブなんて元々お上品なアニメでもなく、そこがウケてたんだろうに。
余談やけど、パトリックの声って日本語版と英語版で全く違うにゃ。
（日本語版は甲高い声だが、オリジナルは太い声）
