　任天堂、コナミ、MicrosoftのXbox、Ubisoft、Take-Two Interactive、Warner Bros. Games、Koch Mediaが参加する。今年も発表文にソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメントの名はない。

　昨年のE3 2020は6月9日から米カリフォルニア州ロサンゼルスで開催予定だったが、コロナ禍で3月に中止と発表された。
